For the first 40 years of my life I fought with extreme obesity. Now I'm not only in a normal sized body but also married to my high school sweetheart. I even left Germany for him and moved into the United States.

I write about my life as a foreigner in America and about my relationship after years of living as a single.

Wie das Leben so spielt.
Ich habe die ersten 40 Jahre meines Lebens mit extremen Übergewicht gekämpft und jetzt bin ich nicht nur normalgewichtig sondern auch noch mit meiner Jugendliebe verheiratet und für ihn sogar in die USA ausgewandert.

Ich schreibe über mein Leben als Ausländerin in Amerika und darüber, wie ich als ehemaliger Dauersingle plötzlich in einer Beziehung überleben kann.
